Amanda Coombs

With 20 years’ experience in managing businesses in financial markets and private banking, Amanda Coombs is now leveraging this experience in her roles as Executive Director to One Alpha Technologies, Advisor to the CEO of Patterson Cheney Group and Chair of two not-for-profit boards, including the Kitchen Garden Foundation.

As a disability champion, Amanda is a founding board member of Giant Steps, a school for children with profound autism; and chair of Flying Fox, a youth-led organisation creating social opportunities for people with additional needs.

As an angel investor, mentor and consultant to start-ups, Amanda supports entrepreneurial women to connect and succeed through Scale Investors. Amanda has invested in 20+ ventures and is an active board member to some of these start-ups.

Amanda has an MBA and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Amanda is passionate about exposing children to the joys of being outdoors. With some of her most precious family memories created while sharing a table, Amanda looks forward to fostering this experience for a growing number of Australian families through the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation.
