Happy 80 years old birthday. There are going to be many more birthdays to come.
I wish I was with you, but we will be together hopefully very soon.
You know my love and admiration for you, it is hard to describe. You are the only person that allowed a 30-years-old electrician in your kitchen and for that I’m forever grateful.
You influenced so many people in your long career, you gave so much to Australian food culture and when you thought you gave it all, there came the Cook’s Companion for any serious chef to have forever in their kitchen, but it is the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation that will inspire the very young generation of cooks.
